New Love

How can we love, Then not
love so much, to join as one
Thinking of forever

Why does our love fade
What went wrong
Can we fix it?
Or is our love gone?
Why do you hate me
now that our love has gone?
We were friends and lovers
for all to see

Now we go our separate ways
Never to love again the same
There will be others
to share our lives
Will we always wonder
what we did wrong
to destroy a love so strong
We'll love again
but never forget

The love we once shared, was lost
Let me love you
for as long as I can
Never trying to replace the love
that was lost
For we are trying to just love again
