You
I wish there was an easy answer
For all the things we do
There would be no hungry people
With no homes to go to
Everyone would have love, health,
Hope and happiness
In everything they do
There would be no lonely people
Everywhere you look,
There would be two
No one would be sick
With no hospital to go to
There would be a line to heaven
Just waiting for me and you
No children would be crying
Without the parents of two
Life is a funny place
With all the things we go through
Let's try not to grow bitter
With all the hurtful things
That happen to me and you
Let's be glad of a new tomorrow
To make things better
For each of us
Now I'll say a prayer for you
So you can make it through
