Staying Young

Ever stop to wonder,
why we grow old
Do we ask,everyday
Why can't we just stay young

To have no wrinkles,
no age spots
No sagging skin
No budging bellies
With no waist lines
No bottle neck figures

Ever stop to wonder why
We want to stay young
Do we want to live forever?
Or just look young

Think of all the things
we would miss
Never to grow old

Ever stop to think
Why don't we just be ourselves
Should we care,
that we no longer look young
We're only as old as we feel

I only think of each new day
as a new experience
To be alive, to enjoy life

Never to regret living it
Everyday holds many dreams
Each year, many memories

Ever stop to wonder why

Are we afraid of dieing
Ever ask why

Did we not ask forgiveness
It's not to late

Do we not wake up each morning
glad to be alive

Enjoy being ourselves,
not someone else

It's wonderful to find each day is anew
Enjoy it all, until our life is through

Ever stop to wonder

Is there a better life

Living each day to the fullest
until our day has come

Ever stop to wonder

Why saying goodbye is so hard
Saying hello in heaven must be good
We're all Gods children
So he's there to take care of us
Saying hello in heaven
has got to make us wonder
Why we are here on earth
