Where Where You

Where were you
when I needed you.
To build me up,
only to knock me down

Why love me,
then leave me
Where we once stood
I now stand alone
Many times, I've cried
to ease the pain

Once filled with love and hope
Now to feel lost and alone
There were times,
I knew you didn't love me
Couldn't be true
There was always hope
Things would change

I thought if I loved you enough
It would make up for your love
Love should be easy
Feeling no pain
Laughter and joy
Never feeling the pain
